A trial introductory flight is the ideal way to find out if flying is your passion.
Come and be shown around our aircraft then take the pilots seat and go flying with an experienced instructor. Operate the controls, taxi, take off and follow through on what it takes to fly an aeroplane. Fly around the local environment of Devonport and take in the beautiful scenic views that Tasmania's beautiful Northwest coast have to offer.
During the Flight
During the flight get a basic feel of the primary flight controls being ailerons, elevator, rudder, wing flaps. Also operate the secondary controls being on ground steering, throttle, wing flaps and trim system.
Trial Introductory Flights
Trial introductory flights are offered as a safe and effective method of learning what the basics of flight are about but are also considered to be part of the process of learning to fly. If you decide to continue with flying lessons, the flight time of the trial introductory flight counts towards the issue of a pilots certificate or pilots licence.
The cost of a trial introductory flight is $140.00 and the duration is approximately 30 minutes of ground time followed by a "hands on" flight of around 30 minutes.
